We have one of our pc's that starts up access from a network with:
'Preparing to install ...' & then 'windows cannot find c:\ ...'. However,
access then comes up ok. with the 'windows cannot ...' still on the screen.
We x off that msg & access runs just fine. Anyone got any ideas? TIA

Sounds as if part of the installation was not completed for ACCESS on the
network computer. Talk to IT personnel about fixing this... ACCESS (or
OFFICE) is looking for the installation disk so that it can complete the
installation.
