Seems that in the last couple of days, when I want to send a link to
someone, I hit the mail button, send a link ( which use to work ) and
nothing happens. I've even repaired IE6 under control panel and no avail.
I'm running Win 98 2nd ed. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Robert

Did you make sure your mail app is the default? Open IE, click Tools /
Internet Options / Programs and choose your mail program.

OK, option # 1 and 2 don't apply, there is no folder options in either view
or tools. Option 3, the microsoft option I tried. The .dll path is correct.
What next?

Thanks for all your time,

Robert

Thanks PA, did that in Windows Explorer. Don't have folder options listed in
tools or view. Only other thing I can think of is to use the control panel
to go back to the previous IE and re d/l IE 6.

Cheers
Robert

In Win 98 Explorer: View > Folder Options > View > Files and Folders >
Hidden Files > Show all files (enable)

In Win98 (only), you can overinstall IE6:

First, close *everything* via CTRL+ALT+DEL except Windows Explorer (includes
your AV program, Scheduled Tasks, Screensaver, and going offline).
Start>Run>IE6Setup.exe. Select Minimal - Custom; Select all the parts you
use, including OE (but none you didn't originally download) and overinstall.
Should take about 2 minutes. Reboot the computer.

Now, with AV and all other running processes still closed, check in at
Windows Update for additional updates and patches you may need.
