trouble with powerpoint presentation

Control room

I have set up a presentation that I have included a movie. the problem that
I am having is that when the movie starts the next slide starts before the
movie is finished. How do I remedie this problem.
 
Hi,
Is the slide advancing automatically?
If so, go to Slide Show > Slide Transition.
Set the slide to advance automatically with a duration that is longer than
the movie itself.
