trouble with pop ups

when i'm i the middle of something what i am doing will go back to the messenger i can not even get through my mail and it pops back to the begin screen
 
do you mean 'messenger' windows?

if so click start and the 'run' and type.... 'services.msc'

find the entry named 'messenger' and DISABLE it. this will stop the pop ups
and is not related to windows messenger or msn messenger.

make sure you have all windows updates installed and a firewall/anti-virus
program.
