Hello
I have been trying to review songs from CD's on Amazon.com. Whenever I
click on the link to hear a small clip of the song, Windows Media Player gets
blocked. Real Audio player comes up with no problem. I have turned off
every pop up blocker I know of: Explorer, Google, Yahoo, Norton Internet
Security. There are no more. How come the Windows media player is blocked,
but Real Audio is not (I prefer Windows Media Player because Real Audio
format isn't offered for as many songs). I can see it flash for just an
instant and that's it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Scott L.

Hi,
Running Ad-aware Pro? The "Block pop-ups" feature of Adwatch sometimes
allows a window
to open momentarily before closing it.

Try putting the problem sites in Trusted sites. From Internet Options>
Security> Trusted Sites> Sites> uncheck "Require server verification
(https:) for all sites" then add "*.amazon.com " (without the quotes) to
this zone.

Hope this helps,

Hi Don,
I do have the free version of Ad Aware SE Personal. I am not sure that pop
up blocking is a feature of it though. Could be. I looked around, but
didn't find it. I don't use it too often.

Tried the method of putting amazon.com in the "trusted sites" section and
had no luck. This is really frustrating. I figured for sure it was one of
the pop ups. I am starting to think that there might be one that I don't
know about. However, I doubt it.
