Too clever by half these machines. Tells me there is a paper jam and there
isn't. Bit on an intermittent problem but now getting worse.........have to
feed through about a dozen sheets, switch it on and off, recite the alphabet
backwards and then it starts printing. Tried asking Epson......what a waste
of time that was........buy some of our cleaning sheets/send it for
repair/buy a new one. There is obviously a sensor but they wont tell me
where it is........no user-serviceable parts etc. Anybody know where the
sensor is so that I can try to clean it?.........or any other fix that might
work? I've cleaned the rollers and they seem ok.....paper is feeding in
straight and true.......perhaps this is just built-in obsolescence to keep
the revenues flowing !!.........I've already had the problem with the
machine seizing because the little ink pad was deemed full.......got round
that one with the re-setter........hate having to admit defeat.
