I have a new Toshiba laptop which came with MS Office 2003. However, I
installed Home Office 2007. But when I click on email links, Windows wants
to install MS Office 2003. I understand that I wd be charged for this.

How can I get the links to go to Home Office 2007 instead?

By "Home Office 2007", do you mean "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007"?
If so, this version of Office does NOT include Outlook 2007. You'll need to
continue using Outlook 2003 or get Outlook 2007.
