I just successfully created my first PPTP VPN server to
VPN client session. (I'm pretty excited about it as well)
In addition I was able to run a remote app through the VPN
and remotely print as well. Life seemed good.
However, things started to fall apart when I attempted to
connection a second VPN client.
I've configured multiple users with Dial-in access and
have their login/account residing on the VPN server.
There's no firewall in front of the server. Individually
they can all connect, but again, not more then 1 at a time
to the VPN server.
The VPN server has a static public IP address on the WAN
side NIC. It's my understanding that for the VPN that only
1 public IP is needed for multiple remote client VPN
sessions.
So, what have I overlooked??? Please help as I have 2
VERY pregnant users that need VPN access ASAP. (I'm cuting
things close from the looks of things. ;-) )
Thanx
