I am trying to convert my home movie VCR tapes to DVD using a VCR player
hooked up to my video capture card. The video is fine but I can't figure out
how to get any audio. Help please!!!

The Audio Line Out on the VCR (usually red and white composite) should go to
the Line In on the Soundcard.. (usually via a minijack)

I am also having trouble importing the audio portion of my vhs video (the
video portion is fine).. I am using a composite cable (red, white and yellow
out of the vcr into the composite video and audio connectors in front of my
computer(HP 7357media center)..please help

Thanks Kero

that worked.. I had the s video cable plugged into the video capture card
and I thought that by having the red, white, and yellow plugged into that
that it would work. There was a miniplug coming out of the plug which I just
plugged into the sound card and I have sound..thanks again...
