Hello,
I am trying to work the bugs out of a new system and win
2000 pro OS. I downloaded this "MDAC 2.7 SP1 Refresh" to
try out an auction listing software that I subsequently
deleted. I dont think you can delete the MDAC (?). Now
everytime I click the "back button" I am getting the
following message: "This page provides potentially unsafe
information to an Active X control. Your current security
settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a
result, this page may not display correctly." Some web
pages display as a blank white page and I can't do a
search on the Microsoft web site. I have searched this on
the web and find so many different fixes that I am afraid
to try one. None address the MDAC download which may or
may not have caused this. I did try resetting the security
levels through Internet tools and reset some activeX
buttons to disable (this is what caused the white pages)
and have set them back to the default settings.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
