trouble w/ clean install

When the installation asks "press F8 if u agree with the
terms" i cant press F8 and it wont let me install. Please
help, thanks
 
Hi,

If this is a clean install to a formatted hard drive, then you probably have
a hardware misconfiguration. Start over, recheck all cabling and bios
detection settings.

If there is an existing system that you are upgrading by running the
winnt.exe file from a boot floppy, then this might help:

Setup from the 16-Bit Winnt.exe File Continues in an Endless Loo [Q282296]

Another possibility being is the F Lock key on the newer MS IE Keyboards. If not locked then all F Keys from F4 to F10 is non functional. The Key is located right after the F12 Key.
