Trouble viewing my slide show presentation

Until three days ago I had been able to view a "slide show" by clicking the
slide show icon. It now opens program called "PowerPoing Slide Show- (name
of the presentation)" in the program tray at the bottom. It won't open at
all. Can someone shed some light???

PowerPoint seems to have detected a second monitor and is displaying the
slide show on it. Select "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show..." menu item, select
"Primary monitor" in the "Show on" box, click OK. Now when you start the
slide show, PowerPoint will display the slide show on the primary monitor.

I was able to fix my problem thanks to you and "Sonia"...thank you both for
the help.
