1) Not sure how to set up so Yahoo is my default mail and

2) In my Office Live site when I try to send email it does this:
(e-mail address removed) <[email protected]> and I get an error message the "to" column is
wrong

Thanks!

I don't understand which email program you're having a problem with.
What is "my Office Live site"?

Just got Vista operating system. Windows mail program comes with Vista I
guess. It looks like Outlook but it isn't (I have always used Yahoo mail
instead so I don't know Outlook).

When I send mail it looks like this:

(e-mail address removed) <[email protected]>

This causes an error because it should look like this:
carole Brown <[email protected]>

Appreciate any help I can get!

If you are familiar with Yahoo Mail, why not continue to use it?

I'm not sure why "(e-mail address removed) <[email protected]>"
causes an error for you because syntactically it is not wrong.
If you get an error message, please post it verbatim.

The first part of that string (e-mail address removed) is known as the
display name, and it can be changed to anything you want.
In Windows Mail, go to Tools > Accounts > select the account > Properties,
and on the General tab change what you see in the first text box to
something like Carole Brown. Click OK.
