Trouble Sending Mail

I have been having trouble sending mail through Windows Mail all day
today. I receive the following message after trying to replicate with the
Nauticom (my ISP) mail server:

"The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Our Blog', Account:
'mail.nauticom.net', Server: 'mail.nauticom.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E."

Can you send some guidance on how to fix this error? I have been able
send and receive mail without issues for the past several months. I can
receive mail but can't send. I have just spent the last hour with my ISP
and they are indicating its an issue with Windows Mail.

I take it that Nauticom is your home ISP. Were you sending from
home when you got that error, or were you sending from a laptop
away from home?

Hi Gary,

I am also having a problem sending email. I can receive but not send. This
is a new problem that I have not had. Account has been set up for 18 months.
Any idea?
