I have seen a lot of posts regarding this, however, I don't know if my
problem is the same. I have been trying to send e-mail from Windows mail and
get this error:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'First day of School!', Account:
'pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I don't have norton antivirus, I have spy sweeper. Sometimes I am able to
send mail with no problem but a majority of the time I get the error. Any
help out there??

If possible disable any email scanning component.

Could you give me an idea on how to do that? Not quite familiar with a lot
of these things.

Thanks

I'm afraid not.
I wouldn't touch Spy Sweeper with a barge pole,
I believe it to be completely superfluous to Vista with something
like Avast installed and a total waste of money.

You'll have to consult their support people.

If they ask you why you want to, quote them...
