trouble saving, not covered before

i have a video made that is 10 minutes, and it just doesnt save i dont get an
error, but it says time remaining 1643 minutes, which is reterded because my
movies that were 5 minutes saved in under 5 minutes. so why is it doing this?

What format are you saving the movie in, WMV, DV-AVI etc.? Are you saving
it to your hard drive or back to your camera?
