trouble saving as ppt 4 from 2000

I am having major problems saving my ppt version 2000
presentation down to 4 which I NEED to import into
Director MX. However, it goes through its thing and then
comes up with an annoying prompt saying that the file I am
trying to save already exists and can't replace it...EVEN
THOUGH I AM SAVING IT AS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FILE NAME.
It then will creat a ppt file with a file size of 0kb. If
anyone knows how to fix this please HELP..... I am on a
TIGHT DEADLINE!!!!

Just a thought. Try closing PowerPoint and re-booting. It could clear
something out of the system.
