Trouble playing avi in PP

Hi,
I would like to include a movie (.avi) in my presentation in PP2003. No
problem inserting it, but when I try to see it - black screen. However, it
works well when I run it on a full screen. I've tried some of the ideas in
this and other forums but nothing really helps. It is strange that I can run
it on a full screen only. What could be the problem?
 
Thanks but I have already seen that. If I get it right I have to test if my
file could be open with MCI. It opens and plays perfectly. Isn't that mean
that it should run fine with PP?

Yes it should but, PPT has a known problem with long path/file names. Try
moving the presentation and video to a folder with a short path (example:
C:\test) and reinsert the video.
