hello,
i am having consistant trouble loading a bunch of websites that used to
work for me and it seems the trouble may be spreading to more websites.
things like ebay, hydrofarm, netflix, etc. all these websites used to
work fine, but just lately they don't. i use firefox but i tried IE too
and it did the same thing. i keep getting the error, "server not
found." netflix loads, but its not loading right.

i checked with my isp, and they said my connection is fine. i cleared
the caches, temp files, and cookies, but it didn't help. i ran all my
security programs but they didn't find anything.

i haven't installed much lately except the new adware and a works
converter program, but the trouble doesn't seem to really correspond
with these changes.

other people can load the websites fine. any ideas? thanks!

Denise,

Check the MTU setting on the computer, against the problem web sites.

Then, check your DNS.
