I did everything the website said
(http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp) No
worm was found on my system, but for some reason I am
still unable to download any of the system updates or the
critical update that the website said I should have. I
get no error message number, it just says that "no
updates were installed". I was able to download
the "WindowsXP-KB823559-x86-ENU.exe" and I finished the
install wizard succesfully (so it said). I went back to
the update website and it said I still needed the 823559
critical update. I tried to get some of the other updates
but I'm still unable to install them. Is this because I
already have them? Is there a way to check my system
updates to see if I have previously installed the
updates? If I already have them, why would the website
tell me that I need them?
