trouble installing unity web player

As the title says I do not know how to instal unity web player.I play various games on facebook and have been having problems loading the games. I have firefox as my browser and use flash player.I have seen that flash player is notoriously unsafe and i want to change from this. I have downloaded unity web player that was recommended, but i do not know how to instal it as an alternative to flash player can someone talk me through how to do this please? Or is there an alternative program that is better?

First, you probably need to run your browser as Administrator. Find the shortcut, right click and select Run as Adminstrator. That will elevate any access to the application so that plug ins and the like may be installed. Once you do that, go here...
