trouble installing software

i am trying to install kodak easyshare software as an
administrator on xp pro but the message "Error 1406 could
not write value, installDir to key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KODAK\KODAK software
updater\KODAK_master_instalter. verify that you have
sufficient access to that key or contact your support
personnel." can anybody please help

Navigate to that key in RegEdit. Select "Permissions" from the edit
menu.

i have tried this but i have full permission but it still will not load
