I just came to Italy and I am noticing that I cannot view
any sites with the ending .it!

I don't understand why. I tried downloading a service
pack but that did not work. Other coputers around me ar
able to view the sites, when I was in the states I could
view the sites.

Please help

Troubleshoot the Service Pack problem first.

An [ *.IT ] Country designator URL should not prevent you
from surfing those sites.
Check your system for Spyware.

Are you still using the same connection that you did "in the states"?

Check your DNS. Compare with theirs. Use theirs.

If you need more help please disclose your OS.

In NTx you could enter in a command window while connected:

ipconfig /all | find /i "DNS"

In NTx you can test DNS and override it with nslookup

Otherwise enter some specific DNS addresses in
Internet Protocol TCP/IP Properties page.
(In XP they have somewhat hidden that.
Use the F1 Help to figure out how to find it.)

Good luck
