Trouble emailing files HELP!

My OS is XP. I recently switched my mail program to
Outlook XP, but now if I right click a file and
select "send" my email program does not open. Not such a
big deal for most files, just open the email and attach
the files, but in My Pictures, if you don't initiate the
email there, then you bypass the option to resize the
pictures. The only way to send them is to go into
Outlook and insert them, then resize manually. I've
checked all of my settings that I know how to check and
Outlook is designated as my defauly email program. Where
do I go from here? I want to be able to click a file to
send and have my email program open for me. I really
need that function back.

Go to the file in My Computer (or My Pictures). Under File and Folder tasks
on the left, click E-mail this file. I'm not sure it can be done by right
click any more (unless you want to zip it). It then provides you with some
sizing options. Then when you complete the dialog, it opens an Outlook new
mail with the file already attached.

No, you don't understand. It USED to do that, but ever
since I switched to Outlook, I get the resizing option
and then no email option. This happens whether I right
click to send or whether I click on "email this file." I
choose resize and it then either prompts me for a profile
which does nothing or it doesn't prompt me and I get
nothing at all. No email.

If you are saying you lost the "Send to" feature in the
File menu, you have to go into Internet Explorer and set
the Email Client to outlook to get that back.

Yes, I guess that is what I am saying. I can no longer
click on email this file when I am in My Pictures and
bring up an email to send. It asks me for a profile, but
no matter what I choose I can't continue from there.
Now, it has started something new! It tells me I do not
have the form needed to display the message and to
contact my administrator. It tells me this when I try to
open certain attachments, too. I tried your suggestion,
and many others, but nothing seems to work. Any idea how
to make this stop?
