Trouble displaying XML

How is XML displayed/rendered with IE 6? Is there some
configuration options I need to know about and setup or
some plugin I need to acquire in order to display XML
pages and not get the XML source code displayed?

For example, after applying a Windows update there is an
XML file located in: C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\V4
named iuhist.xml.

When I double click to display it, IE with all latest
updates on my Win98SE computer renders the raw text XML
encoding and does not produce a rendered display of it for
viewing like in a finished document.
