trouble copying text from website or email to Word document

I am trying to copy text from an email and it seems to copy fine but when i
go to paste it into my document i get an error message stating that what I
have copied is too large, even if it is only one sentence. I have never had
this problem before. what can I do?
 
Use edit > paste special > unformatted text.
