Trouble connecting when Vista is the host

I'm trying to use Remote Data Connections to establish a connection between
an XP remote PC to a Vista PC on a company network. All computers are part
of a domain. To allow users to connect remotely, XP simply asked whether or
not to allow remote connections. Vista asks 1-"allow connections from
computers running any version of remote desktop (less secure)", or 2-"allow
connections only from computers running remote desktop with network level
authentication (more secure)." That second option also has a place where
users can be added.

Only the first option is working, the second option doesn't. It seems like
the second option is more desirable. Any ideas why it's not working?

(2) will only work if you are using Windows Vista's remote desktop client
(as far as currently released products at this point go...) to connect to
the Winodws Vista machine.

In other words - when running the Remote Desktop Client on Windows XP
(6.0) --> you cannot connect to a Vista machine with NLA enabled simply
because the Windows XP client/Windows XP does not support it. You will get
a message like, "The remote computer requires Network Level Authentication,
which your computer does not support."

AFAIK - at this time - you must choose "Allow connections from computer
running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)".
