Trouble burning music to cd

I can't burn all the music to a cd. It gives me an error message and quits

My crystal ball's not working at the moment, so you need to help out a
little here !

Llike what is the exact message ? What software are you using ? Are you
trying to do anything else at the same time ?

I have used different software- Nero, Windows Media Player, Deep Burner and
they all do the same. I get a write error and it wont finish the burn.

What is the text of the error ?

Keep Nero, ditch the rest.

Uninstall Deep Burner and turn off the service that enables WMP to burn
disks :

Start > Manage > Services and Applications > Services > Dright click on
IMAPI CD Burning COM, then disable it > Apply > OK > reboot.

Did that help ? If not, need the exact error.

You could also try reducing the burn speed by half - ie if you currently
burn at 24 x try it at 12 x.

That didn't help. The error code on WMP was 8FFD020E. I have reduced burn speed to 8X my burn speed is 12X. I dont know what else to do.
