Trouble Authenticating with Administrator account

Hi, im new here so pardon any etiquette boo boo's.

I have three computers all of which are Windows 2000 servers running
service pack 4 and the latest security patches.

One is a PDC (if there is such a thing in a full 2000 schema) and the
other two are back up controllers.

Recently I caught a worm which has corrupted several files. I have
since found the worm and cleaned the network but now I have a most
peculiar problem.

I am unable to access the PDC across the network using network shares
- access is denied.
I am unable to use DCPromo as when it prompts for an account I use the
Administrator account and my own account which is an administrator
account and - access is denied.
I am unable to add accounts to the ADS - access is denied
I am unable to join computers into the active directory i.e add
another backup controller using administrator accounts - access is
denied.

Basically I am locked out!

Does anyone have any clues as to what could cause this and more
importantly what the solution is (blowing the domain away isn't an
option) LOL

Can you log on locally to any of these domain controllers ?<<

Yes I can, I can log onto all of the domain controllers. I can even
see from the PDC to other controllers and a couple of workstations
shares but I can not see from the terminals or backup controllers to
the PDC shares.

I have not changed any security settings so I don't thnk this is the
problem unless something has corrupted.

Additionally I am getting occasional "DNS lookup fails" error
messages.
