Trouble after installation

I thought I deleted all the PPV97 files then went to the info you sent me to download and install the InstMsiA (installer) and that went just fine. Then I restarted my computer and went to download and install the PPV 2003 since I am running Windows 98 Second Edition. All seemed to go just fine until I rebooted. I got the box where Windows was searching for ppview97.exe, missing shortcut. I tried to find it through "find", "files and folders" and couldn't so I let Windows find it. A box came up asking if I wanted ppview97 shortcut to point to PPV 2003. It may have been wrong to do but I clicked on yes. Now each time I reboot I get a box asking if I want to install PPV 2003. It is installed and I know if I clic "yes" it will be uninstalled. The same problem I was having before with the exception of PPV 97 vs. PPV 2003. I sure hope you can help me. In advance, thanks so much for helping me. This is really getting to be a grind and I have "lived" with the initial problem for at least 2 years without knowing there were two editions of 98.

Love the name, darlin'

Click on Run, type "MSConfig" and click ok. Chase down
the offending startup and uncheck it. Here's a link that
