Trouble activating Vista Business: Timeout Period Expired

Help! Has anyone received the following error code while trying to activate
Vista:
Error Code 0x80070584 timeout period expired

I installed a volume license version available to students from my
university's IT website. There is no product code, but there is an activation
code. However, I cannot access the activation procedure due to above error
message. I have searched MS website, but cannot find any reference to this
error code.

Check with your University support folks - if this is a bulk license version
they are probably running the activation server you need, not Microsoft.
