have a computer that has been infected and put a icon in the tray which
helpfully points out that comp is infected and offers to take me to a site to
downlosad software to get rid of the infection. however have got rid of
infections using ad-aware but it has left the tray icon behind any ideas for
permenately deleting this

here) where I hang out (instructions on where to get hijackthis and how to
make a log at the top of the forum. Put Ron in the subject.

thanks for the reply but have already progressed to the point were had to
reinstal which has solved the problem in a round about way
