How can I get rid of the virus (and the corrupt files) that is impervious to all Norton remedies (clean, quarantine and delete)

Greetings --

It might help, don't you think, if you bothered to tell us which
specific one, out of thousands of possible Trojans, that you're
infected with? Anyway, the simple answer is to follow the removal
instructions provided at the web site of whatever antivirus
application you used to detect said Trojan.
