Trojan virus..TROJ_SCLOG.20 HELP..I have tried everything

I have this virus on my PC. I have used several virus programs to try and get rid of it. They all detect the virus but either cannot get rid of it or will say they did and then the next time I turn on the PC it appears again. I am almost to the point of dumping everything on the PC and re-installling Windows XP. Anyone with any ideas PLEASE let me know.

I got rid of the virus just the other day. Go to symatec web site. There you can print out a list of things to do . One of the items that may be missing from your effort is turning off the Windows system restore. If this is on, it will automatically restore the virus after you have deleted it.

If the trojan is in the System Volume Information folder, turn restore off,
reboot and then turn restore back on and manually create a new restore point
