what to do next.Thanks

If subsequent scans for malware show that the virus is not present then it
probably was removed. Keep in mind that malware detection and removal
programs only do what they are designed to do and do not know if the malware
has done any damage on your computer such as reconfigure settings, altered
data, or permissions and user rights. As far as for disk defrag you need to
make sure that you logon as a user that is a local administrator. Often if
problems persist after a malware infection a user will need to reinstall the
operating system to a freshly formatted drive partition for the operating
system after backing up data and taking steps to protect from future malware
problems that at a minimum include using a firewall before connecting to the
internet for the first time, using an antivirus program that is kept current
with updates and scans all email attachments, using hard to guess passwords,
and keeping current with critical updates from Windows Updates. The link
below explains more. --- Steve
