What's the name of the trojan, and have you looked it up at Symantec's
website?

no name were given, just trojan horse. when i look into the quaranine file,
there are 3 items
1/autoclk.exe trojan horse \winNT\
2/hosts trojan horse \win\sys32\drivers
3/MSLti64.exe w32.HLLw.Gao \winNT\
what do i do next? all these are not submitted

For each individual items do i click "repair item" or "delete item"?

i also see that there are 93 backup items. what shall i do with them. pls
advice. many thanks

That is strange indeed. What version of NAV are you using?

A better newsgroup would be m.p.security.virus.

Hi, Edward.

You are using the Web-based interface, so go back to the top-level directory
and search for the security.virus newsgroup. Sorry I can't be more help on
that, but that interface frustrates me so much that I can't use it more than
a few minutes. :>(

I much prefer the Outlook Express news reader. To try that, click here:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.security.virus

Unless blocked by something like a corporate proxy, this one click should
start Outlook Express, create a News account for the Microsoft public news
server (the "home base" for all these newsgroups), subscribe you to the NG
that Lanwench suggested, and download the 300 newest messages there. At
your convenience, you can tailor OE to suit yourself, such as subscribing to
other newsgroups of the 2,000+ available.
