On a recent Virus scan using Mcafee, i have found a trojan "generic.cb" in
iexplore.exe.
I cannot clean, quarantine or delete it. any ideas? Hopefully onnes that do
not involve a re-install of Windows.

But if it were me, I would still want it removed one way or another

Hi Don,
Yes, McAfee AV is bang up to date. This is how I found the virus in the
first place. It was runniung Virus Scan that unearthed it. Problem is they
don't seem to have a solution for removing it.
Cheers for the info. I will keep trying.

Hi,
Has McAfee AV been updated? Trojan generic.cb appears to be fairly new

This page indicates that the Nov 22 update has "Enhanced detection" of this.
