trojan hunter

anyone familiar with trojan hunter? seems decent to me, but would like

Yes, it's quite good. It would be a good addition to your security
programs. All files associated with a trojan are marked and disabled
and it allows you see where they are located. There are other features
as well, which are very useful such as port alerts.
Anti-virus software does pick up trojans but is mostly designed for
viruses, but Trojanhunter is specifically designed for them.
I run it separately from my AV program. I use only one scanner at
a time. Same thing with Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D.
 
thanks poster...i was just worried it was bundled with a buncha crud
(i.e. malware), but i got hit with spysherrif last night, and hunter
got it no problem...i still cant change my wallpaper though. goto
desktop props, and its greyed out...wtf? any ideas. -pickluh

ps. never seen a trojan take over so quickly, it was a pain...
