trojan horse virus and can't get rid of it!!!!!!!!!!!

can anyone help or tell me how to. my anti virus scan
program says it has it contained but my computer tells me
other wise. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you, Lora

The virus may have infected your System Restore folder (system volume information).
You'll need to turn-off System Restore, reboot, then turn it back on.

Be sure and turn off "system restore" when scanning pc
for viruses. Right click my computer, select properties
and system restore tab to turn it off.
