How can I get rid of the virus (and the corrupt files) that is impervious to all Norton remedies (clean, quarantine and delete)?

Go to www.trendmicro.com. Use their virus encyclopedia to look up the virus/trojan and it will give you instructions on how to manually delete the infected files
