My son managed to get a trojan on his laptop and it appears to have corrupted
IE settings so some features don't work.

Examples are:
Missing side bar menus
Failed autoredirection on web email client and inabilty to reply or delete
web mail messages with a BT Yahoo account.

Can anyone suggest a route to repair this? I've tried changing and resetting
all the options from the menu but no go. I also can't uninstall I.E. to
reinstall either.

Hi,

Did you remove the Trojan first?

It might be a good idea to reinstall IE over itself.

Kind regards
