While simple to describe, it is not trivial to execute because PowerPoint
was not designed to support that specific scenario (although there are
workarounds that others have already directed you to).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint more easily provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to
send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).

In one particular presentation i've made solution based on transparent
buttons, but it's just an prostetics...

Is there any chance for implmentation of some sort of base timeline?
For example, You have 10 slides prepared, and You put choosen slides on the
timeline bar, as many times, as You want it, and attach some attributes to
it (how many loops, time of exposition) etc. to build presentation 20
slides long...

Hi there ;-)

Another problem related to loops, unfortunatelly.
As i mentioned before, there is a way to bypass powerpoint missfeatures in
terms of looping presentation. One of them is to use transparent,
screensize buttons with 'Slide No: (x)' action attached to it, and
presentation prepared (in kiosk mode) just for those slides which will be
presented in loop. In effect, choosen slides are presented in loop, after
mouseclick, pp moves to choosen slide outside of the loop. It works fine,
but... Because of that, i am loosing ability to control presentation via
keyboard (why???), so there is no way to step back in presentation, if
needed. And ofcourse, i am loosing control (via mouse/keyboard) over the
effects inside of the slide, and i am forced to control them through time
settings...

Is there any other good solution?
