Hi..
Wonder if you could help me.. I have win2k.. I'm trying to connect a
Tripp Lite Internet Office 525U UPS. My computer finds the new
hardware.. but I can't get it to recognize the driver.
originally it was being detected as HID, so I renamed the input.inf to
input.xxx . This finally prompted the new hardware search. it finds it
as the Tripp Lite Internet Office 525U, but, when I point to the driver
that has been provided by the company, it says it doesn't match the
hardware.. When I look in the INF file provided, I don't even see this
option for this type.. I've checked the website and all they have is
PowerAlert drivers.. for the software, I can't find an INF that will
allow windows 2000 to recognize the hardware and install the drivers..
Anyone else have used this device with success?
In addition.. do these things need to charge? No where in the one page
of instructions provided does it say that, but if I plug 1 computer in..
nothing else, not even the monitor, it says its Overloaded (but, if I
plug in just the router, it shows I'm fine..).. I can only assume that
this system would be alright for just One pc at least!
Any assistance is appreciated!
