I have not been able to remove part of a music track and then copy the edited track to audio cd for playing on a cd player

I'm not a mind reader!

More info would be helpful like Software you are using etc, etc?

reply re trimming audio

I use an Apple IMac G5 and have copied the audio track from a disc into Itunes. There was no way to trim down the start of the track with Itunes, or with Toast Titanium. So I tried to use IMovie HD, copying the music into the audio track on IMovie. This worked perfectly, and I was able to "top and tail" at will with several audio tracks. However, when trying to make a CD copy of the edited music tracks, this was not possible. I was only able to burn a disc in DVD form, and this would not play on anything except IMovie. As you will realise I am not the world's expert on this subject, and I'm seeking advice on where I am going wrong. For example, do I need other software, or what?
