I downloaded trillian IM to my desktop and the
first thing the installation asked for was a "plugin directory". I don't
know what that means. Would that be desktop; "C"; C:/Programs....?????? I
have never been asked that by an installation before. So I stopped the
installation until I could get more information. It was a blank blue page
with a browse button with a drop down box and a blank white line you could
type in. Didn't even have the name of the program on it.

Start the installation again, and just accept the defaults as they are
presented
