I ran the Network wizard, and it worked to the point that
I can see my computer with win98 on it. I then tried to
use the browser and it won't work. I called Earthlink,
and I can access google search page only using IP
address. If I try to use one of the links on the search
page I get the dreaded "unable to open page". How do I
fix this? Please help me, my hubby isn't happy with me.

How do you access the internet dialup or broadband? and from which machine
XP or Win98?

You have a DNS problem!
DNS server resolves domain-name to IP-address.
klick Start->Run, type "CMD" and press <Enter>.
In the 'Dos-Box' type "ipconfig /all" and press <Enter>.
In the listing you should find an IP-address of DNS server.
You probably don't have one listed. That means, you have
to go into the TCP/IP properties of the connection which
points to the Internet and either enable to obtain a DNS-
server IP-address automatically or you set a fixed IP-
address for this connection.
Try this one: 207.217.126.81 and 82 and 83
You can find more Earthlinks DNS addresses at this link:

hope this works!
If not, send me a mail...
