Tricky problem with Windows Fax

I have Windows XP fax installed and everything was working
fine, but then I must have gotten some kind of config file
corruption or something. After a fax comes in, the fax
console pops up and under Inbox the folder is empty even
though it says there are a number of items. Anyone know
what config/log file fax console uses that may have been
corrupted?

Once the number of items in incoming goes over 100 then
the incoming folder start showing them. It's just items 1-
99 that aren't there. Very weird, so any help would be
appreciated. Note that the Sent Items Folder has all my
sent faxes, and hasn't been corrupted. Thanks.

Note I edited the original message below (2nd paragraph)
to say Inbox (not Incoming) as I know the Incoming only
shows something will the fax is actually being received.

Based on Russ's reply (posted below) to another question I
found the Inbox folder, deleted most of the older stuff
and it works again. So something in there must have been
corrupted.

The default location of these folders is:

<drive>:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows
NT\MSFax\

Simply copy their contents into the same folder in a new
installation.

More likely there is simply a limit as to how many received faxes the Inbox
needs to display. Few users need more than the last 100 right under their
nose each time they open the Fax Console, so it probably starts over after
that, even though the faxes themselves remain default folder.

But the thing was that the Inbox didn't have any headers
even when it was less than 100. Once I got more than 100
faxes, the latest ones started showing up. So I think it
was definately a corrupted file, and it's working again so
that's what really counts :)
