Have you got your pumpkins ready? :)

One of the benefits of living in a student area is there are no trick or treaters - I'm a grumpy old meiser at the age of 20 ;) I do however have a lovely lit up pumpkin!

Do you get many trick or treaters in your area?

Ah, Halloween, isn't it?

I'm off down the pub til closing time then :D

I prefer my eggs scrambled, not all over the windows...

We had a van load (literally a van) of pikey/chavs, some in their 40's, come trick or treating around my end last year.

There is a steady stream of the usual kid buggers though, including the hilarious severly diabetic trick or treater...

Me: "Here you go" (hands a "treat" of some variety)
Them: "caa't 'av theese"

(uncomfortable silence)

Me: "Okay, bye then" (shuts door)

I'm afraid that if they know someone is in and we ignore them one of them will key the car on the way back off the drive or something, they've done worse things.

You forgot the trick or treaters that dress up and act like pikeys for the night...

Ie two 16 year old guys come to the door, addidas trousers, nicholson hooded top with the hood over a burberry cap. Cigarette behind one ear, the other pierced. Sometimes usually accompanied by the 12 year old girl, miniskirts and fishnets.

The Vauxhall Nova is parked round the corner.

Trick Or Treat mate
Ooh come one then mate, whats the trick

(consults others)

We'll egg you...haha... yeah mate....
(they snigger)

Door slams.

The GENUINE ones are ok, bunch of 6 year olds and a grown up, all ACTUALLY DRESSED UP!!

Its them who we give sweeties too... we gots lollipops and mini-rolls and chewey things... Doubt there will be too many left by the time the first lot arrive ;)

We got a scary looking pumpkin too.

And no i am not going trick or treating. Sister is though.

Now who here turns all the lights off and pretends that their out?

I don't mind little kids coming round, its all just a bit of fun - but 15/16/17 year olds wanting some easy money on the way back from school at 4PM a week before halloween is a bit much! (yes, that has happened!).

blimey! i hope you slammedthe door in their faces

I stood there for a few seconds trying to comprehend what on earth they were doing, laughed politely told them to bugger off ;) It was worth it for comic value :)

lol i can imagine that!

sounds ammusing...:D:D

I don't get it. Why are pikeys so stupid. No wait, Why are pikeys?

I have no opinian on the subject - don't do it,

Just a question - (e-mail address removed)... - why is your username your email address?

Nowt wrong with a red led, it's as sensible as thermal underwear :D

That picture - hahahahahahahahahahahaha......

Wot a lovely couple

I had one of them caricatures done of me at Glastonbury Festival one year, the geezer gave me an 'ooter about 8" long  So I broke all his coloured crayons in half. Oh, and paid him two quid or something.

But seriously folks - interesting pic :)

We had 4 come in one minute, 3 of them had to move on treatless, they must have been queing outside or something.

My future plans are either to answer the door in a set of medieval armour with a nice shiney long sword to scare them abit. Or instead i could buy a paintball gun and dare them to give me the trick, saw one that could fire 31 paintballs a second, could cut a chav in two!

Aaaagh! Attack of the Killer Cake! I was only just able to fend it off!

He he he

I thought I was ready for them this year. I had two big bags of m&ms. 1:00, no kids came, 3:00 no kids came. I just started eating them myself. Finally, at 4:30 the doorbell rings. I answered it and they were already walking away through the yard. I called out to them and they came running back. Problem was, THEY ALL CAME RUNNING. From next door, across the street, etc. ( I think I was the only guy in the neighborhood who was answering his door) I started handing out bag after bag. I thought to myself, if the last kid does not get any, there is going to be a riot! Luckily I have 5 bags left and nobody has shown up since!

Haloween much more celebrated out in the USA right?

Do you get the 17 year old pikeys (ala post #3)?

Chris

I'm not sure if we do or not Christopherpostill. Grown up trick or treaters is kind of rare even in the US. But as far as someone keying his car (#3) ya, that does happen. Is Halloween not that big of a deal to you guys?
