To all using these News Group Forums,

I understand we, the support-dependent, have lost a major influence in
computer technology and support provided to us less schooled and experienced.

I am not privy to the details of Alex Nichol's passing and merely wish to
state my admiration and respect for the man. Never having met, I've made use
of his work these many PC troublesome months, as recently as last evening. He
appealed to me through his apparent love of simple articulation and his
exhaustive study of the computer world. If you want to view some of his work,
I recommend you check out the URL below:

Those of us who use these News Group Forums to tackle our seemingly
insurmountable technical issues seldom recognize or acknowledge the great
service these MVP's and other respondents provide for us, without which, I
might add, is near enough appreciation or return.
May you rest in peace and harmony Alex,

Rev. Dr. Terry

Alex is already dearly missed by us all, and was held in high esteem by
all who knew him.
