trial version calendar not working

Hi. I downloaded the trial version of Outlook 2007 but the calendar won't
allow me to input any entries. I wanted to try this version of Outlook to see
if it would sync to my Blackberry. My OS is Vista. Thanks for any help.

After you download it, you must then install it and, after installing it, you
must activate it. Did you?

Not until you activate do you get all functions. Before activation, only
some features work.
